Gökyüzünden yağan bir su damlası bize her ne kadar küçük görünse de, onun ne kadar büyük bir anlam ifade ettiğini ve sürekliliği ile yaşamı şekillendirebilme gücüne sahip olduğunu biliriz. Minik bir su damlası, ardından gelen binlercesi ile birlikte çevreyi değiştirir, hayatı besler ve doğal olmayana başkaldırarak onu yontabilir. Yoldaki bir su birikintisi yolumuzu değiştirmemize, bizi ıslatan yağmur yolumuza acele şekilde devam etmemize sebep olabilir.
Havanın değişmesi, güneşin bulutlarla kapanması ve ardından yağmurun bizlerin hayatına müdahale etmeye başlaması aslında gündelik hayatta hiç fark etmediğimiz bir dönüşümün habercisidir. Yağmurun hareketini ve etkisini gözlemleyerek bunu soyutlamaya çalıştığımız bu projemizdeki asıl amaç, suyun hareketinin bizlerin hayatına nasıl etki ettiğini görünür kılmaktır.
Global anlamdaki en güncel ve belki de en önemli sorunumuz olan su kıtlığına günden güne yaklaşmaktayız. Gündelik hayatımıza fark ettiğimizden çok daha fazla etki eden su, gelecek yıllarda önemini daha iyi anlayacağımız bir şey haline gelecek. Bu noktada belki de hiç de yabancı olmadığımız yağmur geriye sadece su damlalarının bıraktığı bir anıttan ibaret olacak.
Transform kavramı bize bir durumdan ziyade bir süreci anlatmakta ve bu süreç bir hareketle tanımlanmakta. Projenin temel fikri ise hareketin bir anını somutlaştırırken, o hareketin sürekliliği ile mekanda meydana gelen değişimi soyutlayarak bir anıt öğesi oluşturmaya çalışmaktır.
Suyun “yerdeki” etkisi ve sıçrayışı büyük bir transformasyona sebep olsaydı bu nasıl bir mekan olarak ifade edilirdi?

"While a water droplet falling from the sky may appear small to us, we understand the profound meaning it carries and the power it holds to shape life with its continuity. A tiny water droplet, accompanied by thousands that follow, can alter the environment, nourish life, and defy the unnatural by sculpting it. A puddle on the road may change our path, and rain soaking us may prompt us to hasten our journey.
The changing weather, the sun being obscured by clouds, and then the rain intervening in our lives signal a transformation we often overlook in our daily routines. In our project where we abstractly attempt to observe the movement and impact of rain, the main aim is to make visible how the flow of water affects our lives.
Approaching day by day to the global and perhaps the most crucial issue of water scarcity, we are on the brink of realizing the true significance of water, which has a far more profound impact on our daily lives than we usually acknowledge. At this point, rain, perhaps something we are not entirely unfamiliar with, will be reduced to a monument left only by the traces of water droplets.
The concept of 'Transform' not only describes a situation but also narrates a process, defining this process with a movement. The fundamental idea of the project is to concretize a moment of movement while abstracting the change occurring in the space with the continuity of that movement to create a monument element.

No matter how small the drop of water falling from the sky may seem to us, we know how meaningful and continuous it can produce. A tiny drop of water, together with the larger drop of water, transform the environment, nourish life and defy the unnatural, sculpt it.
